tARTuFF - Love is a many-splendored thing

Black Nights Film Festival in co-operation with the City of Tartu and non-profit organisation Armastus are organising a love film festival in Tartu on 26 – 31 August.
Late summer in Tartu with tender August nights and students returning to town holds a perfect venue for an open-air film festival of love.
tARTuFF centers on the Town Hall Square, which transforms into a cinema hall with huge open-air screen and a thousand seats. In relation to the conference "Cultural Tolerance in the International Perspective" held during the festival, the accompanying film programme is screened in the big auditorium of Tartu University Chemistry Building. Along with a photo exhibition in the Estonian National Museum Krzyzstof Kieslowski’s "Decalogue"-series and his earlier documentaries are screened.
The entrance is free to all festival events and screenings.
